Welcome to Mary Jill Lemieur Designs.

I'm Mary Jill Lemieur, a visual artist and arts instructor  working and residing up north in northwest Michigan. This portfolio space features my animal, bird and pet paintings, and also some Michigan landscapes. Some of my paintings are very realistic, while some are very whimsical. I try to convey my love of animals and nature through my artwork, and hope it will capture the viewer's imagination.

My favorite media include oils, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil, pastel, graphite, silverpoint, and pen and ink. Many of my pieces are mixed media works...I like to experiment!

I specialize in custom digital and traditional portraits of people, children, pets, homes...just about any subject! Commissions are welcome....
