This soft little pony is named Missy,
after my brother's little paint
mare; Mystery (Missy for short). She
turned out a little rounder in the belly
then the rest of my knitted ponies in
the barn, and my brother insists that
that's an accurate representation of
his mare! LOL!

completion time.
Missy stands about 7" tall and
around 8" long. Brown spots adorn
her sides and belly and a beautiful
multi colored mane sets her apart from
the rest of the ponies in this barn!
She's firm enough to stand on her
own, and even carry a rider!
All her pieces are securely stitched
on, making her a safe, natural little
friend for your child! Simple Waldorf
inspired features make for more
imaginative, creative, child play.

All natural: Missy is knit out of 100%
soft Peruvian Highland wool, and is
stuffed with clean, fluffy wool from our
very own flock of sheep! :) (To see the
wool stuffing process, check out the
bottom picture: 1. First cuddle the soft
sheepie to reassure em. ;) 2. Then shear
the wool off their back. 3. Next,
carefully wash the wool several times
and sun dry it. 4. Stuff wool into
knitted body to bring the life into the
toy. 5. Finally: let the baby play and
snuggle to his/her heart's content!

Wool is the perfect choice for toys,
because it warms up against the body
heat of the child's little hands and
is slightly heavier, making the toy feel
all the more life like. I've already
noticed my little sister seems to really
prefer these toys over previous
polyester-filled ones that I've made
her. Wool also repels dust and mites and
is very healthy, clean and natural
feeling; soft and warm.
Hand wash with care! Swish in warm
soapy water, rinse gently and squeeze
out the water. Lay flat to dry.
