These little firecracker earrings are
in the "it" color for this
summer - tangerine, with red and yellow
along for the ride. They are big
statement earrings, hanging an inch and
3/4 from the lobe, but they are light as
feathers, because the focal is a cotton
pearl - these are actually coated,
painted, vanished bits of cotton - these
were very popular in the 50's, as
they were so lightweight and have the
same shimmer as a real pearl.
These are fun, swingy earrings, with an
antiqued brass lever back and strung on
patinaed copper. These will be
fun, and conversation starters, to be
sure! I have only a few of these
beads - when they're gone,
they're gone!
