Quilts by Elsie

I make traditional and pictorial quilts.  I will make quilts to order, as well as selling those already made.  I also have a line of patterns for quilted wall hangings featuring lighthouses and barns.  My quilts are mostly machine pieced and machine quilted.  I also do non-computerized longarm quilting for others.

I have been quilting for over 50 years (started when I was a baby?) , and have competed on the national level, winning awards at the American Quilter's Society, International Quilt Festival, National Quilting Association, and other venues.

My quilts have appeared in various quilting magazines, notably Quilter's Newsletter and The American Quilter.

Recently I have become involved with the Osceola Quilt Trail, located in Osceola County, Michigan, where we currently have 93 painted wooden quilt blocks on barns and other buildings, creating a self-directed driving tour throughout the county. 

I am a member of American Quilter's Society, Northern Michigan Art Guild, Cadillac Area Artist's Association, and North Star Quilters Guild of Cadillac, MI
